I Ate A Mango (23/7/25)
—
I ate a mango and my mouth bled, there was blood between my teeth.
I licked it off, I could taste the juice.
I swallowed it all. It was sweet.
I sucked the pit clean. My mouth ached, but it was yellow, sunny-bright.
My taste buds held the blood and nectar, and in the windowsill there was light.
I think tomorrow I will do it again. Yes. My hands are sticky. When I lick them they taste of life.
